The Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Statistical Analysis (LISA) in Collaboration with the Research Directorate organized a workshop on Advanced Excel Training on the 18^th to 19^th of November 2021. This workshop was held for staff of the University and it took place at the University Computer Lab 5 facilitated by the HOD for Computer Science Dr. Kubuga Kennedy and the LISA Team. The workshop focused on improving Excel Skills for Efficient Work. Other key areas tackled included:

• Becoming adept with excel formulae and functions
• Developing a budget using Excel and perform what-if Analysis
• Getting comfortable with Pivot Tables
• Building a personalized student multi semester statement of results

Participants expressed great satisfaction with the knowledge and skills gained as it was directly applicable to their work and they recommended the organization of similar workshops on regular basis.
