The University of Applied Sciences, Westfalische Germany, and the Tamale Technical University have successfully concluded four days of Summer School for staff and students of both Universities in Tamale. From the 9th to 12th May 2022, Tamale Technical University played host to eleven German students and their Professors from the City of Westfalische, Germany.

The Guest Professors took TaTU Lecturers and Administrators through various topics including Strategic Positioning in a University and Educational Leadership and Governance, Enhancing Gender Equality and Equity in Tertiary Education, and Curriculum Development and Competency-Based training.
Students of the Water and Sanitation department jointly held practical sessions with their German counterparts in Hygienic Planning, Commissioning, Ghanaian Principles, Analytics for Water, Materials, Drinking Water Treatment, Fitting and Techniques students, and Ghanaian Standards students.

Vice-Chancellor of Tamale Technical University, Professor Abass Braimah, thanked the German delegation for a successful 2022 Summer School. He also praised the conduct of the participants and expressed his gratitude to the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Professor Abubakari Abdul Razak, and the Director of Public Affairs for putting together a successful event. Professor Abass also commended the commitment of the German Cooperation in the implementation of the program. Professor Ralf Holzhauer, expressed their appreciation to the participants and organizers of the program. He appealed to the participants to put into practice the skills learned. The participants received certificate of participation.
