It is my utmost joy to welcome you all to Tamale Technical University and, more especially, to the Faculty of Creative Arts and Technology (FCAT).The Faculty of Creative Arts is the Art wing of Tamale Technical University which was recently carved from the Faculty of Applied Arts (FAA) as part of a realignment of programs and also rapid expansion policy of the University.
The Faculty of Creative Arts has a hallmark of creativity, hands on training, research and industrial education. Arts are a vital component of education because of many benefits they offer students and individuals. Pursuing subjects in the arts allows students to harness their creative skills. Besides creativity, learning creative Arts equip you with problem–solving abilities, think critically, soft skills that are transferrable–meaning they can be applied in many other contexts and job scopes. Thus, when you graduate, your prospects are not limited as you have the skills to be a valuable employee across different fields and industries.
