The Department of Fashion Design and Technology is one of the four (4) academic departments of the Faculty of Creative Arts and Technology in Tamale Technical University (TaTU). The department is a vibrant and innovative hub for teaching and training aspiring designers, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals. Known for its cutting-edge curriculum, experienced faculty, and strong connections with the global fashion industry, the department offers a comprehensive education that balances creative exploration with practical skills and industry knowledge. A distinctive feature of the department is that its graduates develop specialized skills in weaving fugu, the tradition indigenous fabric of northern region.
