The Department of Textile Technology was carved out of the Industrial Arts Department in 2021. It offers a range of academic programmes, including certificate, diploma, and BTech. Supported by a dedicated team of eight (8) staff members, the Department provides a comprehensive curriculum that blends theoretical knowledge with practical skills in areas such as textile technology. In the department, students are exposed to hands-on experience and exposure to the latest industry technologies. With a focus on innovation and sustainability, the department prepares students for dynamic careers in the textile technology industry which contributes to the development of cutting-edge textile technology solutions.
