Brief Bio: Iddrisu Ibrahim was employed by the University as a Computer Science Lecturer in 2002 and served as the Head of the Department for two terms (1st October 2014 to -31st December 2015 and 1st July 2008-30th June 2010). His major achievement includes a designed ICT Policy Plan and its Implementation Master Plan for the then Tamale Polytechnic, which was launched by the then Deputy Minister for Education on the 29th of May 2010, in Tamale, Tamale Polytechnic Campus. He has also been an elected Assembly Member for the Kigbirpe Electoral Area, Central Gonja District Assembly, Buipe for two terms. (2011 – 2014, and 2015 – 2019), and served as the Presiding Member of Central Gonja District Assemble, Buipe from 2015 – 2019.
