Brief Bio:

Prof. Abdul-Aziz Ibn Musah, an academic researcher, is the Dean of Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology (FSAT) and a Research consultant of Islamic Finance Research Institute, Ghana- IFRIG, https://ifrig.org/. After earning a master’s degree in mathematics at KNUST-Ghana, I was employed as lecturer at the Department of Statistical Sciences, Tamale Technical University. My research focus is on Applied Statistic. In my Senior lecturer and Doctoral role, I exercised a calculated and systematic approach to problem-solving in research. I have worked as a Senior Lecturer at Tamale Technical University since 2014, where I researched into many fields and facets: environmental management, social, business, and financial applications. Regarding ecological management, the research focuses on extreme value models with a spatial parameterization scheme to study climate extremes’ regional process. This focus targets the study of distribution characteristics of extreme events and the potential mechanism from time and space dependence of extreme values. Extreme Value Theory (EVT) utilization yields new insights regarding risk in climate and agriculture production. Thus, it immensely contributes to the research subject and provides useful information to enrich environmental management programs. The focus area of applied statistics has been extended to other areas in financial risk approaches. My further research on financial time series concerns

modeling Ghanaian’s stock market indexes with a class of GARCH models, which included both symmetric and asymmetric specifications. Finally, further works involve the use of Partial Least Square-Structural Equation modelling (PLS-SEM) in both theoretical and empiricalstudy of some managerial concepts in health management to provide answers to many questions of concern to practitioners and decision/policymakers in monitoring efficiency for significant development.

My research works have resulted in efficient and theoretical Innovation for creating complex applications in the research community. By dint of this philosophy, I am a consummate public intellectual with a broad spectrum of services to the community.
