Following an exceptional performance in Mathematics, he was granted a straight-through entry in September 1996 into the Universidad Central de Las Villas (UCLV), Santa Clara, Cuba, to specialize in Cybernetics Mathematics, where he schooled and researched at the Centre of Calculus and Informatics, a research wing of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computation, UCLV. He graduated in July 2001 as a Specialist in Computational Sciences (MSc. Computer Science equivalent).

Mr. Zack returned to Ghana in September 2001 and joined the Tamale Technical University, then Tamale Polytechnic in November same year. To Mr. Zack, that the Academia is a noble call for him to impart knowledge and he has never regretted it. In 2010 and 2015, the Institute of Distance Learning, KNUST and College of Distance Education, UCC, engaged him on part-time basis respectively.
