Breif info

I am an Associate Professor in Tamale Technical University, the department of Hospitality and Tourism Management. I have a PhD in Hospitality Management from Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom. I have more than 20 years’ experience in the fields of Hospitality and Tourism education and training. I have conducted various research works in the industry including, hospitality management sciences, food product development and solved some challenges within the hospitality industry through research. This is complemented by my research interests in hospitality and tourism, consultancy, graduate employability and how students learn. I have a sustained record of research activity with over 10 publications in peer reviewed journal, conference papers, I also have extensive experience in students project supervision to completion.

In addition, I have competences in technical training of students and procedural mentoring of hospitality and tourism human resource besides teaching. Am a member of the Institute of Hospitality (formerly HCIMA) Furtherance to academic activities, I have a background in consultancy for local hospitality businesses. Some of my career highlights include industry experience for the Hospitality, travel and tourism industry. My specialities are Culinary Creativity and Innovation; Entrepreneurship; Food and Beverage Management; Food Safety; Product Planning and Quality Improvement within the food and hospitality
