TaTU IS SECOND IN 2022 GHATUSA GAMES

Team TaTU emerged the second position in the just-ended GHATUSA games held from 12th to 19th November in Tamale.
In all TaTU won thirty-two (32) medals comprising eleven (11) gold, twelve (12) silver, and nine (9) bronze.
The soccer team of TaTU beat DHLTU 5:0 in the men’s soccer finals during the closing session on Saturday 18th at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium to take home the trophy. In addition, the women’s soccer team emerged as the winner during this tournament. Team TaTU also won gold in women’s volleyball, silver in handball for men and women, silver in basketball for men, silver in badminton, bronze in badminton for women, and several medals in athletics.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abass Braimah, in his closing remarks to the participating teams congratulated all for the show of sportsmanship during the entire tournament. He praised his colleague Vice-Chancellors and the various organizing committees for putting up their best in seeing this tournament coming to fruition.
He also used the opportunity to congratulate the TaTU team for the medals won and making the University proud.
