VICE-CHANCELLOR OF TaTU VISITS NEW NDA BOSS

The Vice-Chancellor of Tamale Technical University (TaTU), Prof. Abass Braimah,paid visit to the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Development Authority (NDA), Lawyer Sulley Sambian, Monday, 14th August, 2023.

The purpose was to reinitiate discussions and collaboration between the NDA and the university. The two officials emphasized the importance of partnering in various capacities, particularly technical support and consultancy.

The Vice-Chancellor took advantage of the meeting to also address a specific matter. He appealed to the new CEO to uphold a previous commitment made by the NDA to provide a hydraform interlocking brick machine to the university. This hydraform machine is to enhance practical teaching and learning within the institution.

The visit seems to have been used to rekindle collaboration and highlight specific needs and opportunities for partnership. By requesting the donation of a hydraform machine, the Vice-Chancellor aimed to improve the university’s educational offerings and enhance the quality of technical education through hands-on experience and practical training.

Collaborations between educational institutions like Tamale Technical University and development agencies such as the Northern Development Authority can play a crucial role in advancing technical education and regional development.
