On August 21st, 2024, the VET Toolbox project sponsored by the European Union and implemented by the British Council Ghana, successfully ended with the training of some learners in the University.
The closing ceremony was attended by representatives of the British Council, the project coordinator, and the management team of TaTU.
This milestone marks an important transition for 50 learners who will now move to commercial farms for their Workplace Experience Learning (WEL). During this phase, they will have the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge they have acquired from the newly developed curriculum in agronomy and farm enterprise management, which was created through the VET Toolbox project.
The university extended its best wishes to these learners as they embark on this crucial phase of their education. Their hands-on experience with commercial farms is expected to enhance their practical skills and contribute significantly to their future roles in the agricultural sector.
