The Governing Council has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Sakibu Bawa as the Librarian for the University on a letter dated 8th July 2024. The appointment of Mr. Sakibu Bawa takes effects from April 2024.
This appointment brings to the full complement of the University Management staff after the migration of the institution from a Polytechnic to a University in 2018. Since the conversion of the University, this was the only position which was yet to be filled.
It is the believe of the University community that Mr. Sakibu Bawa will bring to bare his vast experience as the longest serving senior staff in the University’s library who acted as the librarian for the past decade.
