Directorate of ICT

The Director is supported by an Assistant ICT Officer, Mr. Adam Wahab Legma (MSc- Software Engineering, BA-IT Security, Advanced Dip-Computer Networking), and two Assistant System Analysts: Mr. Mohammed Mahfouz Alhassan, (MSc – Software Engineering, BSc – Information Technology.), and Mr. Mohammed Nurideen Alhassan (MSc-Software Engineering, BSc-ICT, Dip-Network Engineering). There are also two Junior Assistant ICT Officers, Mr. Alhassan Abdul Samed (MSc-Information Technology, BBA-Marketing, HND-Marketing, Advance Cert.-IT) and Mr. Felix Kipo (MSc- Information Technology, BTech-Building Technology, HND-Building Technology, Dip- Computer Science). The office also has a Junior Assistant Registrar, Mr. Odai Edward Afotey (MBA-HRM, BSc-Marketing, HND-Marketing,).

There are a number of Technicians of various grades who are assigned to the faculties and the Registry of the University. The Directorate is responsible for the provision of ICT services to both staff and students. The Directorate is also supposed to make professional recommendations regarding the acquisition of software and hardware, and also responsible for the maintenance of the IT infrastructure of the University.
