About Directorate of Works and Physical Development
The Works and Physical Development Directorate is responsible for the strategic management, structural maintenance, and optimization of all landed property and physical assets belonging to Tamale Technical University. The Directorate supervises, manages, and coordinates all institutional construction projects, ensuring that campus development activities are executed in a structured, sustainable, and orderly manner according to the university’s master development plan.
The Director is supported by a highly qualified technical and administrative team, comprising:
Engr. Boadu Joseph Asiamah (MSc-Development Management, BSc-Building Technology) – Senior Assistant Development Officer. Mr. Musah Masahudu (MSc-Construction Management, PGD-Architecture, BSc-Architecture) – Assistant Development Officer. Alhaji Surv. Zebilila Mohammed Kamil (MSc-Engineering Project Management, BTech-Building Technology, PGD-Management Practice, HND-Building Technology) – Assistant Development Officer. Mr. Haruna Hamza (MA-Population & Health, BA-Sociology & Social Work, Diploma-Social Administration) – Junior Assistant Registrar, who oversees the central administrative and registry workflows of the Directorate.
