All newly admitted students of Tamale Technical University (TaTU) shall participate in an orientation programme at the beginning of the academic year. The programme shall be organized in collaboration with the Faculties, Departments, Schools, and other recognized bodies of the University.
The orientation programme shall aim to:
(a) Welcome newly admitted students and assist them in adapting to and settling into University life.
(b) Guide students through the admission, registration, and other essential administrative procedures.
(c) Familiarize students with the University’s facilities, academic resources, support services, and other important amenities.
(d) Educate students on the University’s rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, including their rights, privileges, responsibilities, and obligations.
(e) Provide students with important information on academic expectations, student support services, campus safety, and responsible conduct.
