A Matriculation Ceremony is held by Tamale Technical University (TaTU) during the first semester of each academic year to formally welcome and admit newly enrolled students into the University.
All newly admitted students, except students who have previously completed a programme at the University and are exempted in accordance with University policy, shall participate in the matriculation ceremony on the date announced by the University.
All matriculating students shall complete and sign the prescribed matriculation declaration or card through their respective Departments or designated University offices.
A newly admitted student who fails to participate in the matriculation ceremony or complete the required matriculation formalities without an approved exemption may be subject to the University’s applicable regulations regarding student status.
